Painted by Renwood artist Austin Williams, Loggerhead Dawn captures a loggerhead — Georgia's state marine turtle — coming ashore to nest beneath a glowing coastal sky, set within a classic Greek key border and printed on both sides of pure silk with hand-rolled edges. This Tomato colorway ignites in vivid coral-red and gold sunset light over warm sands, framed by a red-and-teal Greek key border.
Once endangered, Georgia's loggerheads are recovering after decades of nest-by-nest protection by the DNR Sea Turtle Program — a new dawn for the species. In honor of First Lady Marty Kemp, this scarf supports the Marty Kemp Sea Turtle Conservation Fund, which funds the seasonal technicians who guard every nest and the island housing their work depends on.
A minimum of $30 from every 35" scarf and $20 from every 25" scarf — 40% of our proceeds — is donated to the Fund.
