Steeplechase at Callaway Gardens
Date: Saturday, November 7, 2026
Location: 2458 Nelson Road, Pine Mountain, Georgia
Featured Artist: Austin — official race art & the charity auction painting, “Neck and Neck”
Renwood's Austin is this year's featured artist — and the day belongs to the horses.
Steeplechase at Callaway Gardens brings family and friends together to watch thoroughbred horses thunder over timber and brush hurdles. It's a Southern tradition of tailgates, hats, and heart-stopping racing set in one of Georgia's most beautiful landscapes.
This year, the honor of Steeplechase featured artist belongs to Renwood's own Austin Williams. His artwork appears on the official race tickets and printed materials, and his featured painting, “Neck and Neck,” will be auctioned off for charity at the event — a chance to own the image at the center of the day while supporting a good
cause.
Find Austin at the marketplace, where Renwood's booth will offer original paintings, prints, and scarves featuring thoroughbred horses alongside his classic wildlife and sporting motifs. It's the perfect place to mark the occasion with a piece you'll keep long after the last race is run.
