Austin Williams
Austin’s artwork is a celebration of the wildlife, landscapes and mythology of rural Georgia. His large-format acrylic and oil paintings drift between abstraction and realism. Austin incorporates classic motifs like parallel and sawtooth lines, crosses, and spirals found in artwork over centuries and across diverse cultures. The result of this blend of styles is unique and timeless like the river that inspires it.
Shaped by the River
Inspired by the Natural World
I grew up on a timber farm in South Central Georgia, along the Ocmulgee River. Generations of my family have been shaped by that land—hunting, fishing, walking the woods. The river, the trees, the wildlife—they show up in most of what inspires my art today.
Whether it’s a favorite place on your land, a beloved bird dog, or a memory of children or family worth preserving, I’d be honored to paint something meaningful for you.
